This time we visited “Tanya Bero Umeda Sky Building Branch”.
The place is located in the retro underground shopping mall “Takimi-koji”. It is not a very large restaurant, but there are table seats and counter seats, and we sat at the counter.
I ordered the “Supper Set,” which includes grilled beef tongue, salad, soup, grated yam soup, rice, and pickles. Since we were seated at the counter, we were able to get a good view of the beef tongue being grilled on the grill in front of us.
The beef tongue is firm and chewy, and the flavor of the meat can be felt well. Compared to Sendai, there are not many restaurants specializing in beef tongue in Osaka. In that sense, this beef tongue specialty restaurant is very good, and it is also very tasty.
In addition, the dish is served with rice mixed with grated yam. This yam rice is also excellent. I think the rice is barley rice, but it goes perfectly with this hard rice, and the combination of the gooey yam and the rice is just perfect!
